  1. Add support for a free editor like Brackets

Sublime is great, except that it isn't free. Having to fork over an extra $70 for a text editor is a real turn off for people wanting to try out Corona SDK free version. And the new people like that are the ones who need something like Corona Editor the most. Brackets is a new and modern editor that is highly extensible, and probably the best alternative right now.

  2. Choose Corona version if you have multiple versions installed

I always keep the last public release, current public release, and a daily build installed. It would be nice to be able to choose which version i want to test run on

  3. Jump to definition upon ctrl+click

When ctrl+click a function anywhere in the code, jump to the function's definition.

  4. Replace Hotkey to Run Project on MAC

The existing hotkey of command + F10 to run the project is impractical on a MAC. Is there a way to change this in editor? If there currently isn't, it needs to be changed to something like Command + R. My current "F10" key is my speaker sound on/off button and I would like to keep it that way. I don't want to have to use my mouse to go all the way to up to "Corona Editor" then "Run Project." Thanks.

  8. Build Panel and multiple monitor support

I hate to expand the Build Panel to see the output, and collapse it again to work on the code every time I run the simulator. Please make it detachable so we can move it to another monitor.

  9. Run main.lua

When I build my program with Corona Editor (starts up the Corona Terminal), I'd like it to automatically "jump" to the main.lua, rather than attempt to open the file itself.

  10. Improved variable inspecting in Debugger

Currently the debugger allows you to inspect local variables, which is great, but most things are tables or properties of display objects. Currently, if a local variable is a table or display object, you can't "expand" the variable to see the keys/values which is absolutely essential. Most things in Lua are tables, and knowing the table identifier is probably the least thing you'd want to know about a table.

In short, when inspecting tables in the debugger, we need to be able to see the data inside the tables (and continue drilling down for child keys that are tables/display objects…

  11. Lua code formatting

I would be very happy to have a code beautify / formatting function like in IntelliJ (Ctrl + Command + F).

  12. Highlighted globals

The feature I miss the most from Glider is to be able to spot globals in the code (ie. give them a very special color)

  13. Function Management

All functions, not matter how long or short should be collapsable via a drop-down arrow on the left column. Also, functions should be able to be sorted through, for example, the editor will find all the functions in a program. Maybe the user wants to move those functions to a certain scope, so they can click which scope to move their function to. Just an idea!

  15. Usable visual debugger

There is a debugger but it is so difficult to use no one uses it. Some type of visual tool for debugging with breakpoints, step in/over, and watch variables
